This application offers a comprehensive visualization of global daylight and nighttime cycles, accurately displaying the sun and moon positions along with lunar phases. Its scrollable and zoomable interface allows users to focus on specific locations with ease.

It provides optional layers to display varying degrees of twilight and moonlight, enhancing the realism of sky conditions. Users can also view typical seasonal ice and snow cover for summer and winter, or access real-time data through downloads for up-to-the-minute accuracy.

Favorites can be marked, including personal locations, facilitating quick access to preferred areas. The software supports real-time operation or can simulate through a user-selected speed, referencing past or future dates as desired.

An optional feature displays timezones, automatically adjusting for daylight saving time where applicable and incorporating historical timezone changes. Additionally, users can generate skyviews illustrating the current positions of the sun, moon, stars, and planets from their locale.

For maritime interests, the application includes tidal calendars for any sea location. It also highlights upcoming solar and lunar eclipses when scheduled.

The standard version is a demo that reduces map clarity after one minute; however, purchasing the full version ensures continuous sharpness or can be trialed free for five days beforehand.

The interface is designed with flexibility in mind, capable of being displayed on large external screens for enhanced viewing experiences.
